A Recruiter's Testimony: There Are Two Sides To The Story

A Recruiter’s Testimony:

Much is said about the candidate experience. Offering candidates the best possible experience, regardless of the outcome, is key to securing the best talent. But what about the recruiter experience? A successful recruitment process, from sourcing to hiring, may be as much dependent on a positive experience for recruiters as it is for the candidates.

I had an experience with a candidate that told me I “saved her family”. With tears of joy and excitement in her voice, she told me she got the job offer. That 3-minute phone call made me realize, that as a recruiter, I was able to make ends meet for a candidate and help save this family from a sea of problems they have been drowning in.

From divorce, health issues and unemployment weighed heavily on this single mom of two. More than anything, I salute this woman for facing everyday in these circumstances, but never giving up!

I am proud to be in a career where I can make a difference in a person’s life. In a time where we are so eager to automate everything, I vouch for always having the human element in the recruitment process. AI (Artificial Intelligence) has made our everyday process easy giving us more time to nurture our candidates. But, technology can never replace human interaction. Personalized messages, follow-ups, and simple 3-minute conversations improve the entire hiring experience for everyone involved.

Cheers to jobs that make a difference!
